Chronology
In the midst of an international crisis, Kate Wyler, a career diplomat, is thrust into a high-profile job she is ill-suited for, with tectonic consequences for her marriage and political future. The British government allowed them to use real-life locations as filming locations for the series, including the still-recently reopened American embassy (Nine Elms), which opened in 2018.
One location that was not available was Winfield House, the real-life residence of the American ambassador
Although it is accurately described as occupying the largest residential plot of land (11 acres) in London other than Buckingham Palace, the producers used a country house outside the city for filming purposes. ).

As hard as it may be to believe, this series is also ‘fresh’. Something else major happens halfway through the first episode, and the creators of this drama somehow managed to convince the people who make the trailers not to include it — or even hint at it.
The writing is clever; the plot and dialogue flow seamlessly
I’m only halfway through the second episode, but I can already tell that it’s unlike any other spy/suspense show or book. It’s also a bit refreshing because it’s not dominated by the paranoia that appeals to Australians and others.
The acting is very, very believable
