Chronology
An author returns to his hometown of Jerusalem’s Lot to find inspiration for his next book, only to find the townspeople being attacked by a bloodthirsty vampire. He wants to move away from the sexier, more romantic undead that have plagued pop culture for the better part of the last quarter century, thanks to everything from Interview with the Vampire to The Vampire Diaries . The library’s caption is "Local couple victims of DUI" This paper was printed in 1956, during which time "DUI" Not yet in use.. References Trog (1970).
Good action scenes
SundownWritten and Performed by Gordon LightfootCourtesy of Warner Records by Warner Music Group Film & Television licence. I haven’t read the book so I can’t compare it to that. I loved the look of the vampires. There was a really good spooky atmosphere.
More time to develop these relationships
It was the makings of a good thriller, I think it would have been better as a miniseries. We needed more time to get to know these characters better. I think Lewis does a really good acting job with what he’s given, but his character needs more development. The vague "only outsiders win" kind of method.
He is a character with nothing
Like I thought him being a writer (besides the obvious Stephen King appearance) would serve a purpose, maybe he’d like to do research, but no. The only other thing we know about him is that his parents died when he was young, which serves no purpose. Again, at least Lewis does a good job with what little he’s given. But as said, I think it would be better if there was a mini series to give more time to the characters.
